I have been following your adventure since the beginning. Seems like you are really doing it right! My husband and I are travelling for an extended visit to BsAs at the end of September. He is Argentine and we are recently retired. Is it true that I, an American citizen, don’t need a visa to travel to Argentina?
Hi Toni,
That is true-ish. You won’t need grab a visa before arrive, but you will need to pay for one at the airport here. Right now it is about US$160 (they take credit). Then you’re set for 10 years. Apparently, it’s a reciprocity thing. The U.S. charges the same fee to Argentines visiting the U.S.
Have a great trip. The weather should be beautiful.
