Actually, we have. Our first landlady is a vegetarian. She cooked meat for her family, but not herself. It’s very possible here, you just can’t eat out a lot unless you want a cheese pizza or pasta.
Ahhh…brings back memories of Mendoza. Stan and I considered ordering it till we saw it go to another table..and decided it was a bit too much. I had challenges finishing a single item. All the meat was good…and we loved the empanadas! Really enjoying your posts.
It is a ridiculous amount of meat to serve. And no side dishes to balance it out.

Buenos Aires on a humble budget
We're on an adventure! We're leaving our stable and fulfilling jobs in Los Angeles for a life closer to family in the Midwest.
But before we arrive (and before we get any older), we're stopping by Buenos Aires! This blog is all about our journey.
We have a very limited budget, so we'll share how we are making it happen as well as other fun things along the way. Follow us and see how it's (hopefully) done.
That looks tasty. Nothing like good grilled food
Did they give you a doggie bag for a late night snack? Looks wonderful!
Looks great!! Keep the posts coming. I really enjoy reading them.
So much meat! Have you met a local vegetarian yet? I imagine it’s an unpopular stance to take there…

That happened because Camila was not there ;)
